Once our time and position are affected by signal interference, can we really notice it?
We rely on invisible satellite signals for precise time and positioning. But these signals can be disrupted by jamming and spoofing. This installation makes GPS interference visible in real time. Two pens follow different sources of time: a GPS clock and a sundial. The GPS clock is affected by real-time GPS interference, while the sundial relies only on sunlight rather than invisible signals. When interference occurs, the two drawings gradually become misaligned. It shows how vulnerable precise time can be.
