I used the circular shape of an eye pupil as the main visual. Inside it, I placed hands holding candles to represent the “circle jerk” group.The eye represents the female character Nikki’s perspective — or maybe it’s the readers’ perspective, as if we’re seeing everything through her eyes.In the second spread, the hands are arranged in an arc to represent the eight characters. At the end, there’s a red exit, which reflects the character Davis’s mood in the final paragraph.
